I am SO excited, you guys! You are here! You are now on your way to living this life with more meaning, more inner fulfillment, more focus, and definitely on your way to living your life in a MORE substantial way!
Your life is about to be, dare I say it, pretty much simplified FOR you with my tip-of-the-week steps towards reaching a more substantial life!
We’ll chat about A LOT:
- Simplifying
- Doing Good In A Sometimes Bad World
- Cooking With Love AND For YOU
- Eliminating Stress
- Staying Healthy In A Complicated World
- Helping Others And In Turn Helping YOURSELF
- Clearing The Chaos
- Being Good To Yourself, Others, and Mother Earth
- Finding Meaning
- Finally Zeroing In On HOW Your Life Can Become More Substantial!
Each week, you will receive an email with steps. As I said, these steps will help you to zero-in-on what is important to YOU. Not to me, but to YOU. It is through my journey that you will find yourself asking the questions I asked myself – and my hope is that this process will help you to learn to live your own life more fully. And, in that process, also create a life that is MUCH MORE clear-cut and simple!
That was really the whole purpose of this blog. I had that AHA! moment so many people speak of but little of us seem to attain. Well, I had it! Nothing freaky-deaky, I promise! More on that in a future shout to y’all….
Back to the steps: they are totally attainable. They are realistic. They are MEANT to set you up to succeed, not fail.
If you are AT ALL feeling:
- Unfulfilled
- Lazy
- Unmotivated
- Chaotic
- Unhealthy
- Overwhelmed
- Stressed Out
- Lost
Well, the list could go on and on, couldn’t it?
I am not a life coach or a therapist. But, I can tell you that I have always felt like I wanted to HELP PEOPLE.
Through this journey TOGETHER, we will discover what makes us tick, what gives us hope, what motivates us and inspires us, what makes our lives easier, and just how we can – individually – get the most out of this thing we call LIFE.
And, we’ll be doing it TOGETHER! I’ll be doing it WITH you!
So, my hope is that if you are at all feeling any of the above adjectives (or any other unpleasant feeling) that you’ll stick around for a CLEARER picture into what makes our time here on earth MORE meaningful, enjoyable, sensible, and SUBSTANTIAL.
And, these steps are easy-peasy-lemon-squeezy! I promise! And you will feel sooooo much better after each step is achieved! #WIN-WIN.
Here at A Substantial Life, we provide you this Tip Of The Week to steer you towards a life that is simpler, more fulfilling, and most importantly guides you towards a life that epitomizes YOU; who you are!!!
You are sooooo ready for this, right?
FABULOUS!
So, here is STEP ONEÂ towards creating A Substantial Life!
Guess what it requires of you? Not a whole lotta!
It requires you to give yourself a wee little gift each day….and it will only take 10 minuscule minutes out of your day.
I actually like to think of it as giving you 10 minutes out of your day!
Here is what you need to do:
- Go to www.headpsace.com
- Sign up FOR FREE, y’all!
- Listen to Andy (Andy — ooooooh, Andy! This will make more sense later!) for 10 minutes each day!
If Headspace doesn’t do it for ya, I also highly recommend Gabrielle Bernstein. She has an incredible collection of meditations, and I found her book, “The Universe Has Your Back” to be completely inspirational, calming, and therapeutic! Since I often don’t have time to read, I listen to her books in the car or while doing errands with my earbuds in tow! I love using Audible, by the way.
Here’s the thing: YOU have to actually DO it! It sounds easy – but we all know how life gets in the way and we don’t always do what is best for ourselves! So, since I cannot sit next to you each day and force ya to do it, here is what I want you to do:
- Turn OFF the computer, TV, whatever is distracting you and NOT worth your time when you realize at 6:59pm you haven’t done your 10-minute meditation yet. I REPEAT: when you are sitting there realizing you haven’t done it…..just get UP and DO IT!!!!
- Remind yourself how much you will get OUT of giving this little gem of calm and resilience you are giving to yourself!
- Remind your pretty little self that you DESERVE this 10-minute gift to yourself! YOU REALLY DO.
The reason I stress this little step SO insistently? You Guys: it has done immeasurable and indescribable benefit to my mind and body and is *absolutely and without-a-doubt* THE reason I had my AHA Moment!
I don’t get any commissions or anything – I recommend these tools simply because they have brought me one step closer to living a more meaningful and substantial life. My hope is they will do the same for you!
That’s it! Can you believe how easy that is? And, IÂ guarantee your life will become a little bit more manageable! How do I know? I speak from experience….
Remember, friends — this gal got your back!
I can see you now, all…….
Yup. Enlightened. Lighter in mind and body. A wee bit more centered.
TRUST ME, my dearies: giving yourself 10 minutes a day to meditate will.change.your.life.
Remember: I speak from experience…..
Now, the only thing I would say about this is to pick a time of day that will realistically work for you – every day. You want to set yourself up for success, here. So, really think about what time that is so you can make sure to give yourself this wonderful gift each and every single day.
This isn’t about a temporary change, y’all – this is about a lifetime of zen; a lifetime of feeling just a little bit happier, lighter, and with an overall better mood each day.
And, you will soon see, that once you get in the habit of meditation, you really crave it each day like you crave that chocolate, cheese, wine, whateva’Â your vice is. But, this is a positive vice! You’re entire outlook will change.
I AM SERIOUS.
But — I cannot do it FOR you! It is up to you to give this to yourself! And, might I so humbly say, you sooooooo deserve this! Am I Right?
YES – you NEED this!
Onward and upwards, my dearies! I cannot wait to provide you with Step 2 next week!
Until then……..can I just say
Always Here,
